The terminal goes to the user

Not another tab, not another app to install and remember. If discovery happens in a feed, the terminal belongs in the feed. Every design decision follows from that: the panel renders in place, the chain is inferred rather than selected, and the research you would have opened three tabs for arrives in the same view as the buy button.

Custody is never ours

Keys are generated and encrypted on the device. There is no server that could hold, move, or lose them, because there is no server at all. This is a structural claim rather than a promise: the extension manifest lists every host it may contact, the browser enforces that list, and none of those hosts belong to us.
